Wide Colour Gamut (WCG) is a LCD backlight technology which enables a wider display of colours by improving the phosphor within the Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp (CCFL). The colour range of WCG CCFL is 114% of standard RGB (sRGB) and 112% of conventional CCFL. Therefore, deeper colours can be attained resulting in vivid high quality images.
