Lower Power Consumption

Toshiba has materialized LCD TVs with lower power consumption through generations of system integration. The operating power consumption has been gradually reduced by 52% (Type 32 LCD TV).
Besides operating power consumption, the standby power consumption is also reduced to less than 1W. |

Power Saving with AutoView Feature
|

Aside from providing viewer with the best picture setting with AutoView, it also
further help to reduce impact to our environment with the reduction in power
consumption. |

Less & Lighter Materials

Toshiba has put in concerted effort to achieve efficient usage of materials while concurrently improving the
picture quality. The net weight of REGZA televisions have been drastically reduced by 62% compared to 2003
(Type 32 LCD TV). In addition to the reduction in television weight, the usage of packing materials was
minimized resulting in 58% reduction in carton box size since 2003 (Type 32 LCD TV). At the same time the
usage of protection foam was also reduced. |

Compliance to RoHS Standard
|
Toshiba REGZA LCD TV practices the green procurement with all models complying to the RoHS standard which prohibits the usage of 6 harmful materials namely Cadmium, Hexavalent, Chromium, Lead, Mercury, Polybromobiphenyls (PBB) and Polybromodiphenylethers (PBDE). Such practice contributes greatly to the protection of our future environment. |
