Lower Power Consumption
Toshiba has materialised LCD TVs with lower power consumption through generations of system integration. Our eco-friendly headway is exemplified by a 70% reduction in the operating power consumption of REGZA TVs (Type 32 LCD TV). Moreover, the standby power consumption is also reduced to less than 1W. |

Less & Lighter Materials
Toshiba has concentrated much of its efforts to achieve efficient usage of materials while concurrently making exponential improvements in the image quality. It has seen a drastic reduction in the net weight of REGZA TVs (Type 32 LCD TV) by 77% and their carton box size by 79% respectively, as compared to 2003. The usage of protection foam was reduced simultaneously. |

Compliance to RoHS Standard
All Toshiba REGZA LCD TV models practise the green procurement by complying with the RoHS Standard which prohibits the usage of 6 harmful materials namely Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium, Lead, Mercury, Polybromobiphenyls (PBB) and Polybromodiphenylethers (PBDE). Adhering to such practices attests to Toshiba's contributions to a better environment and a better world. |
